HAIR REMOVAL + FACIALS

If you are a first-time threader/waxer, it is recommended that you try it for the first time at least 1 month prior to your event, and then get threaded/waxed again 1 week prior to your event.

Facials should be done 1 week prior to your event.

HYDRATION FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Moisturize both day and night. The softer and more hydrated your skin is, the better the makeup will look and adhere to your face.

Drink lots of water and eat your fruits and veggies. Hydrated skin is happy skin!

SKIN + HAIR PREP.

If you regularly exfoliate, exfoliate both your face and lips the day before your event.

Arrive with a completely clean (no traces of makeup) face with only non-SPF, non-tinted moisturizer on. Hair should be completely clean and dry. Hair should be washed the night before and left in its most natural state (i.e. free of any styling products). Damp hair will not hold a curl.

WHAT TO BRING

Button down shirts or robes work best so that you can change efficiently while keeping makeup and hair intact.

Be prepared to show your artist inspiration photos of makeup/hair that you like.

A touch up kit is provided for Brides. All other clients are advised to bring a lip gloss/lip color touch up of their choice for the night.

ROOM SETUP

Each artist will need a table, chair and three prong outlet, preferably near good lighting. If you do not have enough chairs in your hotel room, please call the hotel ahead of time to have extra chairs brought up.

An air-conditioned room is highly recommended and preferred to achieve the longest lasting makeup.
